I have been an Artist my whole life, I started out as a painter and furniture maker until I received a scholarship to the Marble Institute of Colorado. That Symposium changed everything I thought about art and sculpture. Suddenly I had all kinds of surfaces to create on in the round. To discover all the beautiful stones that you can carve from all over the world was amazing to me. I have been carving and teaching this craft now at the symposium in Marble, Colorado for 14 years.
